We know the ferrymen personally and whenever we are on vacation on this beautiful peninsula, it goes without saying that we go to the best restaurant on the Höri! The food is really an absolute treat! From soups, salads, lady plates and correct portions for men, everything is included and every dish is prepared with a lot of love. So the eye always eats with you! If you have extra requests, these are made possible without ifs and buts, so that everyone really feels welcome! The price-performance ratio is also great and the ambience is unbeatable! I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and let yourself be enchanted by the great dishes!

A very nicely furnished restaurant with a beautiful outdoor area. Everything kept in a modern country house style. But of course the menu convinced us gourmets. There are delicacies for meat eaters AND vegetarians. Imaginative dishes, deliciously implemented, absolutely recommendable. The people there are also super nice and the wine selection is fine. Priced in the middle segment.

Cozy atmosphere in the garden, attentive and friendly service. Were there unannounced at rush hour, so waited 1.5 hours for a very tasty meal. Sponge over it, are on vacation 👍

A restaurant with such prices should provide better service. We had two waitresses at the table. The waitresses were very inexperienced and unfriendly. The meal took over 1 hour. The highlight was the unfriendly boss of the shop, who doesn't care whether his guests are satisfied or not. A children's portion of dumplings for € 14 is a joke. Probably because there is no other restaurant in the village.

Delicious! Great service! Nice ambience! Last Thursday I was with the ferrymen with my mother-in-law. When we arrived we were seated immediately and within 2 minutes we had our drinks. A bowl of water was also brought for my dog. Both the ambience and the atmosphere were very nice as always. We sat in the lovingly designed garden. The service staff was super nice, competent and helpful, even though it was very busy. We had 3 excellent starters (false escargots, side salad and chanterelle carpaccio). The fake snails were as awesome as always (you just can't miss them there), the salad was also very tasty with a great pasta salad and the carpaccio with the fried chanterelles was great. The main course was the lamb shank of the day with potato wedges and coleslaw for my mother-in-law, she was absolutely thrilled. I had the natural schnitzel in chanterelle cream with bread dumplings instead of spaetzle, the bread dumplings were great, fluffy and soft, the sauce was a real poem! and the schnitzel was tender as butter. All in all, it was a brilliant evening with great hospitality, great wine and food. We will be back definitely!!

My wife and I agreed after our visit today, in one word: Nothing. The service was barely sufficient, the food was overpriced and tasted insufficient, the quality poor. I had 'Geschnetzeltes' - surprisingly and for the first time in my life, sautéed in a pepper cognac sauce - my wife had chanterelles with dumplings. The sauce was very similar with light nuances and refinements with very small mushrooms on the one hand and dried pepper on the other. The 5% tip my wife gave the landlord didn’t wrest a friendly word. I would have given less. A visit today is not recommended after the experience. We were there twice today: the first and last time.

Menu has no English translation, but the one member of staff who speaks it well is very helpful. Although service is quite slow, one has plenty of time to admire the beautiful decor indoors and lovely garden outside. Food is probably one of the best we had in 10 days in Germany. Beautifully presented, generous, and very good. Make sure you leave space for dessert as it is just as good.
